Co-op

Our program immerses candidates in various trading, operations, and technology teams, and gives co-ops high-level classroom introductions to markets, products, and decision-making concepts.

Operations and trading co-op

The operations and trading co-op programs allow qualified candidates the opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of a dynamic trading firm. Operations and trading co-ops are placed directly in front- or mid-office operations teams and are responsible for all aspects of trade blottering, settlement, and profit and loss calculations for the trading desks.  

Financial services co-op

Co-ops who are placed in one of our financial services groups participate in projects that contribute directly to the various businesses that they support. Co-ops are immersed into specific teams and interact with senior staff members on a daily basis. The goal of the program is for co‑ops to gain insight into SIG’s businesses and its approach to decision making.

Technology co-op

The technology co-op program immerses qualified candidates in various technology teams to observe the synergy between business and technology at SIG. At the end of the program, successful co-ops are considered for full-time opportunities in our technology associate program.
